Major Project Plan
A change of direction! Having discovered my previous idea (see below) has sort of already been done, and i am not interested in redesigning something too complicated for me to really do any more than change its shape, i am pursuing an idea from my dad, a medical examination lamp for use specifically in developing countries, where, it is often the case that doctors and surgeons are called out to poor communities or remote villages with no power source and required to perform life saving surgery. the problem being that there is no means of powering the examination light which is a crucial aide to the surgical procedure. So, i aim to design a lightweight portable examination lamp which uses renewable energy sources to charge itself up which has a focused beam of light ideal for the job.

Some preliminary ideas for the 'multi'ject' based on observations of various types of nail guns, the aim of the product is to reduce the manufacture of syringes which cannot be recycled but instead, uses reload-able needles and reusable capsules, it would also speed up the process of mass inoculation or would simply be a good means of injecting someone who was afraid of needles.
Current foreseeable difficulties generally revolve around making sure the product maintains hygiene and the mechanism that needs designing.

My final design for year 12, a GPS designed to accommodate the needs specifically for bind people when walking from A to B, it would have been coupled with a bluetooth headset and would have relayed detailed instructions to the user about the environment around them. The product was also aimed at non-blind users (hence the screen) to broaden the consumer group.
